Low-Fat Veggie Alfredo Pizza

Take a night to indulge in a yummy pizza without breaking your healthy eating spree.  Have some fun for dinner or a late night snack on the weekend.  All of these ingredients can be found in the organic section and you will need to choose the low-fat over the regular.  Not only will you maintain your healthy way of eating, but buying the store brand instead of the pricey brands will save you money.  Most store brands taste exactly the same as any other brand so it is fine to buy the cheaper foods.

What You Need To Buy:

  1. Already made pizza crust
  2. Low-fat Alfredo sauce
  3. Vegetables – Grab all of the vegetables that you like.  The must be fresh.  Also grab a can of black or green olives.
  4. Head of lettuce
  5. Basil
  6. Oregano

Cooking Directions:


  1. Open the can of olives, drain them, and dump them in a large bowl.
  2. After washing all of your vegetables, cut them into small slices and/or cubes.  Place them in the large bowl with the olives.
  3. Wash your head of lettuce and then shred the entire thing into a medium sized bowl.
  4. Pour 1 cup of Alfredo sauce onto the pizza shell and spread it so it covers the entire area
  5. Sprinkle 1 tbsp. of oregano onto every inch of the pizza.
  6. Dump all of your vegetables in the large bowl onto the pizza shell making sure that they cover the whole thing.
  7. Sprinkle 1 tbsp. of basil over all of the vegetables.
  8. The shredded lettuce takes the place of the cheese so sprinkle the lettuce on top of the vegetables.
  9. Place the pizza into the oven and check it every ten minutes.

Your low-fat pizza should be done in less than 30 minutes!
